Dehradun to Raithal
Raithal, serving as the launching point for the Dayara Bugyal trek, lies approximately 9 hours from Dehradun.
The journey unfolds amidst picturesque forest landscapes immediately after departing Dehradun. Within an hour, you traverse Mussoorie, a renowned hill station in Uttarakhand.
Between Mussoorie and Uttarkashi lies a notable viewpoint often referred to as Tingling Point. From here, breathtaking panoramas of the Garhwal Himalayas unfold, showcasing peaks ranging from those near Himachal (such as Swargarohini ) to Mt. Bandarpoonch, Mt. Srikanth, the Gangotri Peaks, the Chaukhamba massif, and extending to Mt. Nanda Devi on exceptionally clear days.
Uttarkashi, the largest town en route, marks the path toward Bhatwari.
Approaching Raithal, the spectacle of sunset hues illuminating Mt. Bandarpoonch, Mt. Srikanth, Mt. Jaunli, and Draupadi ka Danda peaks unfolds.
Raithal to Gui
From Raithal, distant views of Mt. Srikanth and Gangotri peaks 1, 2, and 3 emerge, growing more distinct as altitude increases toward Gui. The forested area housing the Gui campsite is visible from Raithal. The ascending trail swiftly exits Raithal village, passing through fields before transitioning into wooded terrain, rich with oak and rhododendron. Gui campsite, nestled in a forest clearing, features nearby village huts and a forest department shelter.
Gui to Chilapada
Today's trek continues from Gui towards Dayara, revealing previously obscured mountains as you ascend. It's a short day (3 km) with gradual climbs interspersed with flat stretches. After departing Gui, follow the main trail to Gui Thatch, a small meadow in the forest featuring shepherd huts and a pond. Enjoy panoramic views of the Gangotri range, including Shrikanth and Bandarpoonch. The leisurely walk through the rhododendron forest allows for immersion in nature, with opportunities for a "hug-a-tree" experience.
Chilpada to Nayata via Dayara Top
Chilapada, near the beginning of Dayara Bugyal, offers ample time to explore the vast meadows. After ascending through forests, you emerge from the tree line to the edge of the meadows. Here, Chania huts are visible, and the trail skirts the meadow's edge, offering views of Bandar Poonch and Kala Nag. Early morning offers a breathtaking vista of Dayara Bugyal, adorned with blooming flowers in spring and snow in winter. Spend a couple of hours exploring before descending to Nayata.
Nayata to Raithla
Begin your trek to Raithal by 9 am, as it takes approximately 4 hours to reach. Follow the main trail from Nayata, descending through dense forest. After 15 minutes, you'll reach the rain shelter. Keep descending for an hour until reaching a grassy clearing with a water source. Take a break before completing the final descent to Raithal.
Raithal to Dehradun.
Depart from Raithal after breakfast for the picturesque journey back to Dehradun. Anticipate arriving in Dehradun around 6:00 PM on the same day.

In such cases, UK Yatra will refund the amount paid by the client after deducting any non-recoverable expenses.
- Any request for a change in accommodation should be made at the time of booking. However, UK Yatra cannot guarantee that the request will be fulfilled as it is subject to availability and other factors.
- UK Yatra is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury caused to the client during their stay at the hotel. The client is advised to take necessary precautions and follow safety guidelines while staying at the hotel.
- The check-in and check-out time of the hotel is as per their policy. UK Yatra is not responsible for any early check-in or late check-out charges levied by the hotel.
- The client is advised to read and understand the hotel policies and rules before checking in. Any violation of the hotel policy or rules will be the sole responsibility of the client, and UK Yatra will not be liable for any consequences arising from it.
- Sitting arrangements in Car/Bus/Tempo will be on a rotation basis. Our representative will guide you on this and we need to cooperate with him.
